We are now on 35 acres. In our farms we are cultivating Guava, Coconuts, Lemon, Paddy, Papayas, Drumsticks, Mangos, Jackfruits and Fodders in a profitable way. We breeding Desi Cows, Goats, Desi Chickens, Honeybees and Desi Dogs in our farms. We are producing our own fertilizers and Pesticides for our crops and it’s 100% Natural & Organic. “Ayodhi” is a name of our Grandfather who is doing agriculture since 1950. Sri Ayodhi Naidu is the founder of our farms. He took over management of family & relative's farm land and during his period he managed over 110 Acres in different soil types. He managed to cross tough farming period between 1990 to 2014 due to acute water scarcity, escalating labor cost coupled with lack of reasonable market price for agricultural produce due to these our agriculture land size was shrank from 110 Acres to 40 Acres and Some of our farm land turns to brickyards also.
In 2015 Karthick Srinivasan grandson of Sri Ayodhi Naidu decided to convert the entire farms in to Organic Farm. It was not an easy decision, but gained confidence mainly due to mentoring from Dr G. Nammalvar and likeminded Organic farmers. We stopped using chemicals & pesticides in our farm, primarily to cut the farm operational costs.
I have grown up seeing my grandfather Agriculture practices which naturally induced an interest in agriculture and farming. Though I am an Engineer by profession, I have always had a great passion for farming and I strongly believe that I can make a big difference in integrated Organic farming. I am currently running Ayodhi Farms in an innovative and very profitable manner. It has been a rewarding journey for me.
