Cow urine is one of the ingredients of “Panchagavya” (urine, dung, milk, curd, and ghee) which is capable of treating many diseases as it has several medicinal properties.
It has been considered that cow urine is very useful in agricultural operations as a bio fertilizer and bio pesticide.
Cow urine is proved to enhance the resistance of plants against a wide range of plant pathogens like mycoplasma, viruses, bacteria, fungi, nematodes and insects causing diseases and damages to cultivated plants.
Cow urine contains many beneficial elements. Cow urine contains 95% water, 2.5% urea, and the remaining 2.5% a mixture of salts, hormones, enzymes, and minerals.
As it can kill number of pesticide and herbicide resistant bacteria, viruses, and fungi. Cow urine in combination with plant extracts is used to prepare disinfectant which is biodegradable and ecofriendly with good antibacterial action.
Cow urine has several biological activities such as antioxidant, antidiabetic, antitumor, and antiprotozoal.
In order to fulfill our Customer Requirements we are cultivating Traditional rice varieties Kavuni & Mappillai Samba in our farm.
Kavuni rice is a rare rice variety, which is very good for health. It contains anthocyanin which is a good antioxidant. Found in dark blue, red and purple foods, anthocyanin antioxidants show promise for fighting heart disease, cancer, and other diseases. It has got various medicinal benefits. It gives strength to the body. This can be cooked after soaking in water for 30 minutes. Then sugar or jaggery along with coconut is added with the cooked black rice and can be eaten. Just the outside hull of the grain has one of the highest levels of anthocyanin antioxidants of any food!
This rice has another name – ‘Forbidden Rice’, and the history behind it is interesting. This rice was supposed to be consumed by Kings only and if it was found that someone else eats it, they would be punished for that. Imagine how rich this was and how protective the kings were on this.
